Carrot Halwa































Grated carrot - 2 cups
Butter - 3 tbsp
Milk – 2 cups
Sugar – ½ cup
Cardamom powder - ½  tsp
Sliced almonds, roasted cashew nuts and raisins – a few

1. Boil the milk.
2. Heat butter in a pan and add the grated carrot and sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add the milk and stirring occasionally.
4. When the mixture thickens add sugar and cardamom powder and stir continuously for 2 -3 minutes.
5. Mix with almonds, cashew nuts and raisins.
