Onion pakoda / Onion bhajia

































Onion – 2 
Besan - 1 cup
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida powder - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - for frying

1. Cut onion into thin slices (length wise).
2. Take besan into a bowl and then add chili powder, asafoetida powder, turmeric powder, salt, water.
3. Blend it well and make a batter of thick consistency.
4. Add the onion pieces in batter and mix well.
5. Heat the oil in a pan.
6. Take a spoonful of onion and put it into the oil.
6. Fry till they turn golden brown.

Serve with tomato sauce.
