Pal payasam































Milk – 4 cups
Red rice / Chemba Pachari – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 - 1 ½ cup
Cardamom – 6pods crushed
Cashew nuts
Raisins
Ghee – 1 tbsp

1. Wash the rice.
2. Put rice, sugar and milk in a pressure cooker and cook the rice well. (It takes almost 20- 30 minutes. Don’t take the pressure valve immediately; be sure all the pressure is left.)
3. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
4. Add this with cardamom powder to the cooked rice and mix well.
Payasam is ready to serve.
