Wash the rice.

Put rice, sugar and milk in a pressure cooker and cook the rice well. (It takes
almost 20- 30 minutes. Don’t take the pressure valve immediately; be sure all
the pressure is left.)
3.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
4.
Add this with cardamom powder to the cooked rice and mix well.
Payasam
is ready to serve.
