Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies – 2 (split lengthwise)
Garlic – 2 (crushed)
Ginger – A small piece (crushed)
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Turmeric powder – A pinch
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – a few
Salt – To taste
Oil – For frying
1. Fry the pappadams and crush it.
2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard and cumin seeds, then add onion, green chilli, garlic, ginger and curry leaves and sauté for few minutes.
3. Add turmeric power, grated coconut and crushed pappadam and mix well.
4. Remove from heat and serve hot with rice.
