Basmati rice - 2 cups
Saffron threads - ½ tsp (soaked in 2tbsp hot water for 10 minutes)

Onion – 1 (chopped)
Cashew nut – 10-15 pieces

Cloves – 2 no.
Black pepper – 2 no.
Cinnamon stick – a small piece
Bay leaf - a small piece
Cardamom – 2 no.
Butter – 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Salt - to taste
1. Soak rice in 30 minutes and drain
rice.
2. Heat the butter in medium heat
and add cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cashew nut, onion and sauté
well.
3. Add rice and stir until the rice
is lightly toasted.
4. Then add water, salt and saffron
and cook the rice in the medium heat.
