Tomato curry































Tomato – 2 (sliced)
Onion – 1(sliced)
Green chilli – 1(sliced)
Dry red chilly – 2
Chopped coriander leaves – a few
Curry leaves – 1 spring
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste

1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
2. Add red chilly, curry leaves and sauté for a while.
3. Add onion and green chilli and sauté well.
4. Then add tomatoes and stir it becomes soft.
5. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and fry for few seconds.
6. Then add 1 cup water, sugar and salt; cook covered for 10 minutes on low flame.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve tomato curry with rice.
