Shallots – 10
Ginger – A small piece
Garlic – 5 cloves
Grated coconut - ½ cup
Raw mango (Small) - 1
Turmeric power – ½ tsp
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Salt - to taste

1. Wash and clean the fish.
2. Coarsely grind coconut, green chillies, garlic, ginger and turmeric powder.
3. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
4. Add sliced shallots, ground coconut mixture, fish pieces, mango pieces, curry leaves ,salt and add enough water to cook.
5. Mix gently and close with a lid.
6. Cook on medium heat till fish is cooked and all the water left.
Serve hot with rice.
